Biography

Emma grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She earned her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's College. She also studied in Madrid, where she sharpened her Spanish skills and earned a LL.M from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.

During law school, Emma worked on perfecting her legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skill in a variety of settings. She externed with an immigration non-profit, a university, and a personal injury practice. She was also a member of the VIS International Arbitration Moot Court team and a teaching assistant.

After graduating from law school, Emma worked at a non-profit organization where she guided self-represented litigants through issues related to housing, public assistance, divorce, unemployment, and expungement. During her time there, Emma realized her passion was to help people with their family law problems and joined Reed Law Group.

In her free time, you can find Emma running, discovering local coffee and pastry shops, and exploring the great outdoors.
