Biographies
Steven A. Reed: Steve Reed, founder of Reed Law Group, P.C., graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1991 and has been a trial attorney in the Ann Arbor area since 1992. Although his primary focus has been Family Law, he has successfully litigated cases in various areas of the law, including criminal, personal injury, business disputes, and landlord tenant issues. Steve's goal is to always be exceptionally accessible to all his clients, making himself available 24 hours a day. He takes an aggressive approach to many of his cases to obtain the best outcome, while keeping his clients in the loop throughout the entire process as he guides them through their difficult legal journeys.
Steve Reed is a court approved family law mediator and spends many hours a week mediating cases for the community at reduced rates. He has also been a court appointed arbitrator. He has received certificates from ICLE in the Family Law program as well as the Bankruptcy program.
Steve Reed is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals Sixth Circuit, United States Eastern and Western District of Michigan and all of the State Courts of Michigan. Mr. Reed is a continuing member of the State Bar of Michigan, Washtenaw County Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, Washtenaw County Bar Association Family Law Section, the State Bar of Michigan Appellate Practice Section, and the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Section.

Elizabeth Solomon: Elizabeth Solomon is an associate attorney at Reed Law Group, P.C. Prior to joining Reed Law Group, P.C., Elizabeth practiced family law exclusively at a firm in Birmingham, Michigan. As an excellent listener, Elizabeth believes in keeping her clients well-informed throughout the divorce process, while strategically guiding them to the most effective and positive outcome for their situation.
Elizabeth earned her law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree in History and Political Science from the University of Michigan. Elizabeth is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Oakland County Bar Association, Washtenaw County Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Section.

Jamie L. Ellis: Jamie, a lifelong Ann Arbor resident, is a Legal Assistant at Reed Law Group, P.C. Jamie keeps everything in the office running smoothly using the time management skills she acquired as a wife and mother of six young children. She also handles most of the administrative tasks for the office, and the staff relies on her to keep Reed Law Group running efficiently in the fast-paced world of family law. Our clients quickly learn that Jamie's friendly manner and great customer service skills make her an invaluable asset to the team. Jamie is an associate member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association.

Rebecah Davidson: Rebecah is a Legal Assistant with Reed Law Group, P.C. She has been working as a Legal Assistant since she received her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in May of 2008. Rebecah has decided not to sit for the bar exam, but instead uses her knowledge and skills to help the office run expeditiously. Prior to law school, Rebecah earned a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor Degree in Psychology at Western Michigan University. Rebecah joined Reed Law Group, P.C. in the summer of 2009 and she is the first face that will welcome you to our office. Rebecah is an associate member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association.

John W. Reed, II: John is an Office Assistant at Reed Law Group, P.C. He assists the law firm daily by performing legal assistant tasks and process serving, all while overseeing the file room and ensuring documents get to clients in a timely manner. In addition, John is responsible for all office billing. John was also born and raised in Ann Arbor inspiring him to be an avid sports fan. He is currently a proud father enrolled at Washtenaw Community College, earning credits towards his degree. John is an associate member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association.
